The AMI StorTrends 3200ia is a 3U IP-SAN and NAS Storage Solution with sixteen hotswappable SAS or SATA Drives for up to 16 TB of storage capacity with the full-featured advanced version of StorTrends iTX 2.7 Data Storage Software. This dual dialect storage appliance can be deployed in existing Ethernet networks and has the capacity to support the entire data storage needs of corporations and institutions. Ideal for both primary and secondary storage, it provides many enterprise-class features at a price that is attractive to small and medium sized businesses (SMBs).

The AMI StorTrends 3200i supports iSCSI, enabling block applications like Microsoft® Exchange and Oracle® to be deployed or
stored on the same server as traditional file services and storage. The AMI StorTrends 3200i is designed with performance in mind,
and includes features for enterprise-level storage management such as hardware RAID, advanced snapshots, volume replication,
and failover.
Dual dialect StorTrends® iTX software enables transfer of both block and file data over the existing Ethernet network. It provides advanced disaster recovery features such as synchronous, asynchronous, snapshot-assisted and journal-assisted replication, failover, and failback. StorTrends iTX also features high availability grouping, network teaming support, UPS support, advanced snapshots, SAN and NAS snapshot scheduling and advanced caching for IP-SAN appliances.
Volume replication allows data to be stored on multiple StorTrends appliances at multiple sites, for high availability and disaster recovery in the event of a catastrophe. The advanced snapshot capability of the AMI StorTrends 3200i features Redirect-on-Write (ROW) technology with near-zero degradation when writing or rolling back snapshots. Administrators can schedule up to 1,022 read-write and 1,022 read-only snapshots per volume, and up to 2,048 snapshots per box. A maximum of 64 volumes per target is supported.
