The AMI StorTrends 2400im is designed with performance in mind, and includes features for advanced storage management such as Advanced Snapshots, Synchronous and Asynchronous Replication and much more.The Volume Replication features of the AMI StorTrends 2400im allows data to be stored on multiple StorTrends appliances at multiple sites, and takes advantage of the powerful Wide Area Data Services (WDS) module to dramatically reduce data transfer times and bandwidth use to remote sites. This dual dialect rack-mount storage appliance manages both block and file data in a form factor that has the storage capacity to support departments, branch offices, and small to medium sized business (SMB) users. It merges Ethernet-based Storage Area Networks (IP-SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) on a single storage platform. Ideal for either primary or secondary storage, it provides many advanced features and superior manageability at a price that is attractive to SMBs. Its support for iSCSI enables block applications like Microsoft® Exchange and Oracle® to be deployed or stored on the same server as traditional file services and storage.
